Az Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem Bölcsészettudományi Kar alapításának 379. évfordulójáról megemlékező ünnepségen Jeremiás Éva professzorasszonyt Pro Facultate Philosophiae - díjjal tüntették ki.

When I parted her for Australia, to teach in Australian National University, my mother at the age of 87 had lost lots of her physical strength. She had become very frail and fragile, but had kept her strict authority in the house, looking after her first born son, and of course, in turn, my brother looked after her. Her inner pride as the most prominent living Iranian poet, backed by extreme modesty and self - sacrifice, had not been diminished; but her formidable photographic memory was showing signs of deterioration. In a space of four months I had to make three trips to Iran, to see and comfort her. But in the last one she parted with me for good in a journey of no return to eternity. The shock and distress for losing such a mother cannot be expressed by words, but, the intensity of my sadness eased by a flood of condolence messages, and the participation of more than 10,000 people in her funeral. It was as if all Iran was in grief. I Returned to Australia, and resumed my work, only with the support of her memories.

2015. április 23-án Iftekhar Aziz, a Pakisztáni Iszlám Köztársaság budapesti nagykövete udvariassági látogatást tett az Iranisztikai Tanszéken. Az oktatási és tudományos kapcsolatok áttekintése után a beszélgetés fő témája Allama Iqbal és a perzsa irodalmi hagyomány pakisztáni továbbélése volt.
Az Iranisztikai Intézet mély megrendüléssel tudatja, hogy Clifford Edmund Bosworth, emeritus professor of Arabic Studies, Department of Middle Eastern Studies, University of Manchester, a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia tiszteleti tagja 2004-ban történt megválasztása óta, 2015. február 28-án elhunyt.
The Department of Iranian Studies announces with regret and sorrow the passing away of Clifford Edmund Bosworth, Emeritus Professor of Arabic Studies at the Department of Middle Eastern Studies, University of Manchester, and Honorary Member (since 2004) of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, on 28 February, 2015.
